Red Stopper: For chemical serum analysis with clotting activator. Clotting time of 30 minutes.
Yellow Stopper: For HLA phenotyping and DNA testing. SPS prevents clotting.
Purple Stopper: For whole blood hematology. EDTA prevents clotting.
Gray Stopper: For glucose determinations. Oxalate and EDTA anticoagulants give plasma samples. Contains sodium fluoride.
