The new CrimeCam Full Spectrum Imaging System (FSIS) is the most advanced image capturing system in the world. The CrimeCam features a full spectrum 16MP digital camera with sensitivity from the deep UV through real IR. With over 16 megapixels of resolution and sensitivity from 254nm to 1100nm, the CrimeCam can easily capture a full handprint at 1000 PPI (pixels per inch), and micro evidence up to 2,500 PPI. No more looking for a latent fingerprint with a handheld RUVIS and then blindly photographing the evidence in order to get a high-resolution image. No more green, grainy, small images at a low resolution limiting the capturing area to 1" x 1" with the old RUVIS technology. The FSIS will digitally capture a high-resolution image in all spectrums and display it in real time. Every aspect of the CrimeCam FSIS has been carefully designed to provide the only full spectrum system able to capture at the highest resolution available. It begins with the camera and continues with the computer, hosted on an all-in-one Apple computer, running on Windows 7, equipped with custom image capturing software. With a state of the art computer and software, a high sensitivity solid-state camera, and software written specifically for capturing any evidence, the CrimeCam is able to provide consistent sensitivity and sharpness in the UV, visible and IR spectrums. Although the key feature is viewing and capturing untreated latent prints at a very high resolution, the CrimeCam isn’t just for fingerprints. The large field of view (f3.6-f16), high resolution (up to 2,500 PPI), and full spectrum capability (254nm-1100nm) provide an unequaled system to view and capture altered documents, urine, semen, saliva, blood, GSR, footwear, untreated latent prints, fumed prints, dye-stained prints, and more. Forensic photography at the highest resolution across the entire light spectrum enables criminalists’ skill set to be in full swing. There is no limitation to the varied types of evidence the CrimeCam is capable of processing. Put it to the test and request a demo today!
Our FSIS Mobile system utilizes portability and durability. System components fit securely in a carry-on sized Pelican case with custom cut foam. The custom folding copystand creates a level, hard surface for placing evidence for image capturing. Complete kit weighs approximately 28 lbs and measures 22” H x 14” W x 9” D.
Sift through large volumes of potential evidence while eliminating unimportant debris with our newly redesigned Sifting Screens. These screens presort physical evidence to size, while allowing small, insignificant particles to remain at the scene. Made from heavy-duty 18 gauge cold-rolled steel with black wrinkle-finish paint, the redesigned screen now features a base screen with a single insert. Rotating the insert in 90 degree increments creates three opening sizes from 1/8” up to 1/4”. Two thumbscrews hold the insert in place and when the insert is removed, the base screen with 3/8” openings may be used. Overall size of the base screen is 18” x 18” and the insert measures 17” x 17”.

Arrowhead SealGuard™ Split Back Evidence Tape features an acetate base to prevent shrinking and swelling in extreme temperatures. 3M adhesive produces a superior, tamper-proof seal, making it impossible to remove the tape without destroying the tape. Dual serrated edges make it easy to tear to desired length. SealGuard™ is backed with a 70lb split back liner to prevent curling, allowing quick, easy, controlled application.

Forensic Blue Swabs are individually wrapped, single-dose applicators. This convenient method dispenses O-Toluidine Blue Dye used to aid in the identification abrasion injury.
In response to a need in forensic nursing practice the Forensic Blue Swab™ was created to rid your exam room of the messy bottles of Toluidine Blue Dye (TBD) that get spilled and most of the time disposed of before you can use even half of the bottle. The National Forensic Nursing Insitute, Inc. has spent the past two years working on the design of the perfect solution to this practice problem. The Forensic Blue Swabs consists of a soft foam tipped swab with a shaft that contains 1% Toluidine Blue Dye Aqueous Solution. While the swab is still in it's package, squeeze the shaft and the solution is soaked into the swab and ready for application.
In the genital assessment of sexual assault patients the TBD can be used to identify abrasions not seen by the naked eye and sometimes even with the use of a colposcope. There is about 2 milliliters of TBD in each swab which is more than enough for this application. It is important to have forensic protocol that ensures proper timing of the application of TBD. The Forensic Blue Swab should be used after external evidence collection and before the speculum examination in females.
Activated charcoal strips are used to maximize the containment at fire scenes. The introduction of commercially produced activated charcoal strips into fire, debris analysis has provided an easy, efficient and cost effective method for accelerant extraction. Introduced in 1985, this method provides a simple, clean and sensitive method of accelerant extraction.
